Exterior Painting Cape Cod
A paint job well done by The Barnstable Painter delivers quality
that lasts and makes the customer happy.
A good paint job protects your investment, whether it’s your home or commercial space. The Barnstable Painter uses quality paints and stains from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams. If you seek to freshen up or restore a building’s look with the same color and don’t know its source, John can help you match old paint colors by taking a small swatch of the existing color and employing modern technology to find a nearly-perfect match. The Barnstable Painter also has strategic relationships with designers who can assist in color choice when your color palette is limited only by your imagination.
Once you (and designer if used) choose colors and finishes, The Barnstable Painter will provide you with a quote within two days. Our quote includes a detailed description of the work we will do on the building’s exterior. Special requests, such as replacing rotten or damaged areas will be included, along with the estimated start and completion date of the project. The Barnstable Painter requests a ten percent deposit when you sign the contract, forty percent of the remaining balance when we begin the project, and the remaining balance due when you are completely satisfed that your project is done to your exact specifcations. All work from The Barnstable Painter is backed by a 12-month warranty.
Painters from The Barnstable Painter arrive on time, dressed in uniform with a truck featuring the company name. The Barnstable Painter team is fully insured as the painter(s) set up work, careful attention is paid to protecting landscaping, windows, and ornamental features on or near the building.
An exterior painting job by The Barnstable Painter includes:
Sanding all depleted and peeling paint.
Applying a primer coat to seal wood.
Replacing rot on any of the following: doors, windows, bulkheads, shingles and siding, rake boards, decks and handrails. (additional fee applies)
Weather is a big factor in painting the exterior of a building, and it can affect schedules. Rain, snow, high winds, and high humidity all may be conditions that impede or stop painting for the day. After particularly heavy rain, the building may need 1-2 days to dry out before paint can be applied.
